Tabitha Wambui - was born in Nakuru and dropped out of school after Form 2 (age 14). Married with two children, she trained as a hairdresser. In 1998 she joined the team where her attention to fine detail is a major contribution to quality control and she has taken it upon herself to instill this in the team.
Joyce Njeri - born in Elementeita and left school at the age of 12. She tried her hand in the garments business for five years after which she joined us. Joyce was married last year. She is looked upon by the women as a team leader.
Ruth Wangeci - Born in Nakuru, Ruth too dropped out of school after Form 2 (age 14). A brief spell training to be a hairdresser ended in 1998 when she joined us. Ruth is married with three children.
Josephine Akinyi - Born in Ponda Mali, Nakuru she left school after Standard 8 (age 12) and joined us in 1996. She is married with three daughters.
Jessica Khayali - born in Vihiga District, Western Kenya and was educated there until Form 2 (age 14). After a year and a half in the sugar business Jessica moved to Nakuru in 1998 where she joined us. She is married with one son and sadly lost her second child a year and a half ago. A lot of the intricate Indian embroidery is done by Jessica.
Jane Kagai - Born in Nakuru and left school at the age of 15, Jane trained and worked as a hairdresser for a few years before joining us in 1999. She lives in Nakuru with her husband.
Sarah Lichah - Sarah was born in Butere, Kakamega. She left school at age 12. Eventually she went to college and learnt to operate a knitting machine. She moved to Nakuru in 1998 when she joined us. Sarah is married with four children.
Esther Aseyo - Esther was born in Vihiga, Western Kenya where she completed her "O-Levels". After completing a year of IT training, Esther changed her mind and became a receptionist at a leading hospital in Nairobi. In 2007 she moved to Nakuru and joined us 2009. she is married with one daughter.
Manharsinhji Chudasama - Dad was born and brought up in India. He moved to Kenya in 1961 and after running various businesses retired in 2005 and I now use his place for my studio. Dad's help in all my projects has been invaluable and oftentimes he comes up with unbelievably simple solutions to problems I encounter in production.
